People's Conference 2024
Strategic Command is hosting our annual Conference for all personnel on Thursday 25 July 2024 at Cormorant Hall at Defence Academy.
We will hear from a variety of speakers from both within the Ministry of Defence and externally to build a shared understanding of the Command’s vision, purpose, role, strategy and will discuss how all personnel play a critical role in delivering the Command's vision in Sharpening Defence's Edge.
Commencing at 0900 with registration/coffee, the Conference will be hosted by Commander Gen Jim Hockenhull, and will:
- Consider the challenges and complexity of today, tomorrow, and the longer-term future.
- Showcase Strategic Command’s approach to values and harnessing talent.
- Promote Strategic Command’s core purpose at the heart of UK Defence
In addition to the above, there will also be an opportunity for group discussions throughout the day on issues relevant to you and the future of Strategic Command. It also goes without saying there will be plenty of opportunities for networking as well as being able to visit the various HLB stands, to learn more about the valuable work carried out and how it fits into the wider Command objectives.
